Brian Berg is an independent technical consultant, and is owner of Berg Software Design. His specialties include data storage, flash memory, and consumer electronics hardware and software. Brian has also served a technical Expert Witness in intellectual property cases. He has been on the IEEE-CNSV Board  of Directors since 2006, including as Chair and Director. He was also a member of the IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section’s Executive Committee for 3 years, including as Chair. Brian is currently IEEE Region 6 History Chair, and is a member of the IEEE History Committee. He been involved with two dozen IEEE Milestones, including as Proposer and Advocate.
