Yuyang “Sunny” Ying is a Sr. System Integration Engineer at Qorvo, Inc. He has worked with smart surfaces and devices for about 8 years, as well as with integrated hardware, firmware, and software in various industrial and consumer products. Prior to Qorvo, Sunny was a Sr. Product Application Engineer at View, Inc., from its startup to going public, with its growth from 200 to over 1000 customer sites, and where he led the development and integration of the control system serving as the brain of millions of Smart Windows. He also has extensive experience in data processing, analysis, and visualization to drive key product/business decisions.

He has a Master’s in ECE from Cornell University, and a Bachelor’s in the same field from the University of Missouri-Columbian, as well as from Sichuan University in China.
