This is a dinner meeting for IEEE-CNSV and IEEE Life Members Affinity Group (LMAG) members. It will feature 2023 IEEE President-Elect Tom Coughlin speaking about his plans as 2024 IEEE President, as well as how IEEE has enabled his career.
About the speaker, Tom Coughlin of Coughlin Associates, Inc.Tom Coughlin is a digital storage analyst and business/ technology consultant, and President of Coughlin Associates. He has worked for over 40 years in the data storage industry in engineering and senior management positions. His company consults, publishes books and market and technology reports, and puts on digital storage-oriented events. Tom is a regular contributor to forbes.com, and to M&E organization websites. He is an IEEE Fellow, 2023 IEEE President-Elect, Past-President IEEE-USA, Past Director IEEE Region 6, and Past Chair IEEE Santa Clara Valley Section. Tom is also active with SNIA and SMPTE.
