We build wearable devices, home health devices, and devices for the aging, among others. My staff of engineers and I are experienced with:

  • Medical devices — we have a Design Control procedure meeting FDA 21CFR 820.30 and ISO 13485:2003
  • Wireless: Bluetooth, WiFi, Zigbee, cellular (CDMA, GPRS, GSM), GPS, NFC, and RFID
  • Sensors like temperature, pressure, accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, strain, vision
  • Sensor signal conditioning, analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), and low power
  • Batteries and power conservation
  • FPGA and CPLD: Altera and Xilinx using Quartus, ISE, ModelSim, VHDL, and Verilog tools
