Professional Summary

Mr. Brahmbhatt has over 30 years of experience in a variety of technologies such as Semiconductor Memory (ROM, SRAM, DRAM, Flash/EEPROM/EPROM), internal driver circuits, micro-controllers, programmable logic, high-speed communications, sub-systems/modules, solid state storage and renewable energy technologies as a serial entrepreneur, seasoned executive, technologist, and as a team builder. Mr. Brahmbhatt has successfully built teams from ground-up and has managed teams spread over continents. He is a creative engineer awarded with 11 US patents and is a recognized Technical Expert for over 15 years in IP litigation including areas such as IC memories, logic circuits, driver circuits, controllers, flash memory cards/modules, etc. Mr. Brahmbhatt has worked with leading IP law firms, multi-national companies and patent holding firms. In addition to his Expert Witness experience at US District Court, ITC and the PTAB, Mr. Brahmbhatt has also worked as Technical Expert for a US District Court judge. At National Semiconductor, Mr. Brahmbhatt had P & L responsibility for ~ $150 million NV Memory product line and managed ~ 100 professionals spread over two locations. Being a member of top management team, Mr. Brahmbhatt was sent by the company to top ranking business schools to be trained in marketing strategy, strategic planning and execution. He was also in charge of managing Flash memory technology alliance with Toshiba at National Semiconductor. Mr. Brahmbhatt has hands-on experience of managing people and resources, making business plans, program management and marketing of advanced concept based products & services. He brings many years of experience managing collaborations with international partners such as Asahi-Kasei (Japan), Hyundai (Korea), Toshiba (Japan), Gould Semiconductor (USA), etc. Mr. Brahmbhatt can communicate in six languages and has the experience of working with top level executives in US and international companies.

Mr. Brahmbhatt is a serial entrepreneur listed on the prestigious Silicon Valley Genealogy Tree for the 1983 Non-Volatile Memory and Programmable Logic high-tech startup, ICT Inc., this company made IPO in 1989. He was also responsible for memory sub-systems/modules/flash memory cards employing a micro-controller at Smart Modular Technologies, this company also made an IPO and later got acquired. Following Smart Modular, Mr. Brahmbhatt was COO at MARS technologies (worked on high-speed transceivers) that was acquired in a multi-million dollar acquisition by Globespan-Virata, which itself got acquired by Broadcom. Mr. Brahmbhatt then went ahead to develop ultra high speed transceivers (40 Gb/s) using compound semiconductors. Mr. Brahmbhatt has started companies, managed them and took them public or has managed to get them acquired. Mr. Brahmbhatt has raised money from various avenues such as corporate finance, venture capital, government funding, technology collaborations, etc.

Mr. Brahmbhatt is certified on Energy Efficiency Management Program curriculum offered by SJCC and Work Force Management with a focus on data center energy efficiency. He is also a certified Green Building Professional. His current company focuses on government contracts and licensing of technologies developed at US Government labs and commercializing them particularly in the field of renewable energy generation and storage. Mr. Brahmbhatt has represented the United States as a Delegate in Nano Energy Forum 2008 held at Milan, Italy. He has similarly been invited by Governments of Korea, Canada, etc. to help commercialize their technology products in USA. Mr. Brahmbhatt has been an invited Speaker at prestigious venues such as Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, American River College, San Francisco City College, Science Sub-committee of the US Congress, Monterey Bay International Trade Association, etc. He has Chaired International Conference held in New Delhi, India. He was also an invited speaker at the prestigious Physical Research Laboratories in Ahmedabad India and also a speaker at the Ahmedabad Management Association, India.

Mr. Brahmbhatt champions non-gas automobile based transportation at the IEEE Vehicle Technologies Society of San Francisco Bay Area of which he is the Chairman for 2013-2015. He owns an electric car and actively participates in the activities of the Silicon Valley Electric Auto Association. He is also the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the IEEE SF Bay Area Nanotechnology Council and was a member of the Blue Ribbon Task Force on Nanotechnology for the State of California. He is a senior member of the IEEE and has been recognized numerous times by the IEEE with citations and awards, latest being the IEEE 2012 Award for Outstanding Leadership and Professional Services. He is the past President of prestigious Silicon Valley Engineering Council which represents various engineering societies in the Silicon Valley and has recognized leaders such as Steve Wozniac, T. J. Rogers, Jerry Sanders, Steve Kang, etc., on its Hall of Fame. Mr. Brahmbhatt has participated as a Program Chair at the Flash Memory Summit held every year at Santa Clara Convention Center for the past several years. He was also a keynote speaker for the International Conference of the IEEE Vehicle Technology Society held at Santa Clara Convention Center in 2013.

Mr. Brahmbhatt has been an Adjunct Faculty at Santa Clara University Graduate School of Engineering and Ohlone College and has taught full day courses at Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). Mr. Brahmbhatt is a California State Registered Interpreter in five languages from India and Fiji and is a California Notary. Mr. Brahmbhatt has M. Sc. Physics from India and M. S. E. E. from Ohio (USA), he has received numerous scholarships & fellowships during his distinguished education career.
