Seminar/Webinar: Patent and Invention Strategies

This interactive seminar and simultaneous webinar will run from 9am until approximately 12:30pm, depending on the number of questions. It is the second in the CPP Intellectual Property Series. Future events in this series will focus on the consultant as an expert witness.

The seminar will consist of registration, networking, coffee and pastries starting at 8:30am, with the live event starting at 9am.

The webinar will start at 9am, and will consist of PowerPoint slides on your screen, real-time audio through your speakers or phone, and the ability to ask questions via text chat. Webinar registrants will be emailed webinar participation instructions.

If you have an invention, or are just thinking about one, you will learn the right time to begin your patent filing process, what you should do prior to filing, and how to handle the process once you have submitted your patent application.

Peter Salmon is an IEEE-CNSV Board member. He is an experienced inventor with over 20 patents issued in his name, and who has sold and licensed his own patents. He has learned how much of the patent preparation work he can efficiently perform himself — which is nearly all of it — and how to work effectively with patent examiners to achieve a favorable outcome.
